This is the best Halloween night viewing possible. Lights off waiting between kids to hand out candy screaming to watch out with your friends. Its the best way to experience it.

So I was asked what my plans were over the next year or so. Now normally such a question would get a series of smart ass responses and never would get an answer of any substance cause I'm a clown like that, but in this case it got me thinking,"what am I doing over the next year or so?" Well after getting over the existential nightmare of the question I quickly opened up my writing desktop on my computer and looked at the literal hundreds of ideas I have on it and decided that "well shit, lets figure this out."
But my point is at 8 years old I still believed in Santa, I mean I'm not saying I thought one guy delivered presents to every kid in the world, I had reasoned that each state or country had there own Santa rep that reported back to the guy in charge. (While I knew that Santa couldn't deliver to every kid in the world but thought one guy could do an entire state or a country like the Soviet Union, IDK, I guess I hadn't yet gathered the concept of scale) but regardless I thought that Santa was real.

Readers are our family. We aren't creating readers we are creating a community. We will treat them right, without them we are just shouting at the moon by ourselves. We respect out family above all else. Again we need them more than they need us, there will be other books for them, we might not get more readers without them .
Friday the 13th in September is one of life's great pleasures. Its the first month of fall(depending on the part of the country you are in it might be a month away yet or you might be a month into it, I'm playing with averages, and also talking about my country of origin and am aware its different...you know what let me just move on.
A writer writes in order to get a reaction. Sometimes we are trying to get you to laugh, sometimes we are trying to get you to cry, sometimes we want you to think and sometimes, not often but sometimes our intent is actually to piss you off.
I can take anything and imagine a way in which someone could see it as an object of absolute terror.
I have to admit that I do have a personal favorite type of horror. That type that is more comforting, my baked mac and cheese of horror, that thing I go to when I desperately need that comfort, and that is holiday horror.
